Sometimes in life you get burnt.
Sometimes it's to rediscover
The beauty within.
Sometimes it's to know that
No matter how much you get burnt
You're intact on the inside.

Sometimes it's to make you stronger
To make you a better version of you
To take off the rose-colored glasses
And see the world for what it is,
Make better decisions going forward.

When you realize you get more of
What you focus on
You learn to focus on the beauty
From the burns
And not the burns in themselves.

Hey gorgeous, you've done it!
You've mourned the loss of who you once were
A shadow of the real magnificent you.

It took guts and courage. You had it in you.

As you learnt the lessons they were here to teach

You're the book. Craft a brand new story for you!

Release and free yourself from carrying others' burdens
Give it back. It was never yours to carry in the first place.
Know that by carrying this you're doing them a disservice.
Allow them to deal with their own baggage. That's how they heal
The only thing you carry is the wisdom that was hard-won.

When you meet people who are driven by pure self-interest
Give yourself permission to match them. You don't have to be good
To people who exploit your kindness. Don't enable their bad behavior
For they will then continue to operate from an illusion of lack.
If they can't meet you halfway, wish them love and light. Walk away.

You can't change anyone unless they want to
You can't break yourself enough to build another.
They'll only take and leave when you have no more
Of yourself to destroy to create them. Keep it moving.
Allow them to learn their own lessons.

When you meet people who are driven
By mutual interest or creating win-win outcomes
Collaborate with them. Together you can create
More than what you can each on your own.
Build solid partnerships built on trust and reciprocity.

When you meet rare people like your former self
Who look out for everyone else but themselves
Cherish, nourish and protect the goodness in them.
Show them how to build and hold strong boundaries
When they stand in their own power, your job is done.

Send a heartfelt wish into the universe to meet people
Who understand the inter-connectedness of everyone and everything
Souls that recognize that place within them that they know
Can never be created or destroyed. That is who they are in truth.
They are those who walk the earth in absolute freedom.
